I am still on the Program Minimum of Swings and TGUs.
My goal is to get to a consistent pace of 40 swings/min for 12 - 15 minutes 24KG kettlebell. Then I will tackle the Rite of Passage and then the VO2 max protocol.
I am in no rush to get to that pace. Going to take it slowly and strengthen my mind and body to achieve that goal.
Still GTG on several exercises: Heavy KB Goblet squats, Single leg deadlifts, Pull Ups, Hanging Leg Raises, Windshield Wipers, Head/Handstand. Going to start adding bridgework for spine flexibility.
Lately I have been working on kicking mechanics and trying to do more shadow boxing.
- Step out 45 degrees and pivot on ball of feet.
- Arms extended out, chin tucked behind shoulder.
- Rotating hip up and over.
